Structures, Bridges and Concrete

Structures, Bridges and Concrete

EH Construction delivers concrete works and civil structures that support roads, water systems, and industrial sites. From culverts and retaining walls to slabs and bridge elements, we build for durability using controlled methods, disciplined supervision, and quality checks at every stage.

Our teams coordinate formwork, reinforcement, pours, curing, and finishing with accurate setting out and inspection control. We plan sequencing to avoid rework, maintain safe work zones, and keep records for concrete compliance, testing, and handover documentation.

What we deliver

Typical scopes include culverts, headwalls, wing walls, drainage structures, box culverts, concrete slabs and bases, retaining walls, foundations, concrete channels, bridge repairs and small bridge works, as well as reinforcement fixing, shuttering, and concrete placement.

Execution starts with survey control, shop drawing review, and method planning. Reinforcement is checked against drawings, formwork is inspected before pouring, and concrete placement follows controlled batching, transport, and vibration practices. Curing and protection are enforced.

Quality control and safety

Quality is tracked through reinforcement inspections, cube tests, slump results, pour records, and dimensional checks. Safety controls cover working at height, lifting, excavations, and formwork stability. Supervisors coordinate permits, access, and separation of plant and crews.

Closeout includes snag control, as built measurements, test packs, and documentation to support maintenance. We finish surfaces cleanly, demobilise responsibly, and hand over with clear records that demonstrate compliance to specification and client expectations.
